Founded in 2022, Sunset FC has defied the odds to become a force to be reckoned with in the football world. Despite facing numerous challenges, including limited resources and a young team, they persevered and worked tirelessly to improve.

In their inaugural season, Sunset FC faced tough competition and struggled to find their footing. However, the team's determination and resilience kept them going, even in the face of setbacks, including losses and injuries to key players.

The team's fortunes changed when they brought in former Accra Hearts of Oak Manager, Anthony Allottey. His fresh tactics and strategies emphasized teamwork, discipline, and hard work, resonating with the players. The team's hard work paid off, and they qualified for the Volta Regional Second Division League, a remarkable achievement for a team just two years old.

After qualification, Sunset FC took their development to the next level by hiring a licensed coach by name Nana Bodua, an expert in development and marketing. Under his guidance, the team has continued to grow and thrive, transforming into a well-oiled machine.
